The Story and the Reason

The #DYDI Foundation is a non-profit organisation formed in 2017 with the sole intention to build and uplift the living standard of underprivileged people (including women and youth) in the Free State and Northern Cape regions of South Africa.

A Supportive Hug

Grief and Bereavement Programme

Provide a platform for the bereaved who lost their loved ones to form a support group. Bring together health and social care practitioners, academics, church leaders, volunteers and service providers to network and exchange learning experiences in death-related programmes.

Educational youth development & empowerment programmes

Promote educational youth development and empowerment programmes in poverty-stricken communities. This capacity building programme is targeting secondary school students ranging from
grade nine to twelve to prepare and empower them to grow holistically.

Skills development programme

Computer programmes aimed at youth who cannot afford tertiary education, this educational programme is provided into different components. The mentoring programme directly targeting young girls and boys in rural and deprived communities at the beginning of puberty through adult hood. This complete mentorship programme will educate and empower them leaving them confident and self-worthy.
